Juan Soto Name-Dropped in New Bad Bunny Album

Juan Soto has not only become one of the faces of Major League Baseball but also an icon in the Dominican Republic and the Latin American community. Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny just name-dropped Soto in his new album.

The Grammy Award-winning rapper released his new album DeBÍ TiRAR Más FOToS on January 5. The first track on the album NUEVAYoL contains the lyrics, “Con los Yankees y los Mets, Juan Soto.”

Soto made a huge career move this offseason, staying in New York but leaving the New York Yankees and signing in Queens. The New York Mets signed Soto to a 15-year, $765 million deal.

This is not the first time Soto has seen his name in a viral track in recent months. Foreign Teck and El Alfa released a track called “Soto Shuffle” earlier this year when Soto and the Yankees were making a run to the World Series. However, the song has been removed after Soto left to join the Mets.

Soto joins a list of legendary players who have played for both the Mets and Yankees. Rickey Henderson, Yogi Berra, Robinson Canó, and Willie Randolph all played for both historic franchises.
