On Sunday, Korea faced off against Australia inside Taipei Tianmu Stadium. It would be Korea who got the 5-2 win and earned their third win of the Premier12.
Korea took the lead in the third and fourth innings. Do-yeong Kim singled to make it 1-0. He then had another RBI knock in the fourth inning, which, combined with an error by Australia, made it 3-0.
Australia bounced back to make it interesting, scoring a run in the fifth and sixth innings. Travis Bazzana walked with the bases loaded, scoring a run. Liam Spence also hit an RBI single in the sixth, making it a 3-2 game.
Kim homered in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring two runs and extending Korea’s lead to 5-2.

A three-strikeout save by Yeonghyun Park would be the difference maker for Korea as they would finish Pool B with a 3-2 record. This put them third in the standings. Australia would fall to 1-4 to finish out their Premier12 experience.
