Tomateros de Culiacan 6, Venados de Mazatlan 3 – Joey Meneses hit his league-leading 10th homer of the year, a two-run shot in the third, and Rudy Martin added a solo homer in the fourth as the Tomateros notched their 30th victory of the year. Phillip Ervin hit his first homer of the year for Mazatlan, which fell to 18-27 overall and 4-6 in the second half.
Naranjeros de Hermosillo 5, Yaquis de Obregon 3 – Reivaj Garcia went 2-for-3 with a solo homer as the Naranjeros took a one-game lead over Guasave in the second half over with the win. Robert Stock allowed three runs on five hits, striking out six and walking four for Hermosillo.
Aguilas de Mexicali 8, Mayos de Navojoa 3 – The Aguilas jumped out to an 8-1 lead after four innings and held on to improve to 5-5 in the second half. Yadiel Hernandez hit a two-run homer in the first, Norberto Obeso hit a solo shot in the second, and Moises Gutierrez drove in three runs with a fourth-inning triple. David Reyes allowed three runs on nine hits, striking out three in seven innings of work for Mexicali.
Sultanes de Monterrey 9, Caneros de Los Mochis 5 (11 Innings) – Ricardo Valenzuela clubbed a grand slam in the top of the 11th, and Riley Unroe followed with a solo homer as the Sultanes put five runs on the board in the final inning and held on for their third win of the second half. Yasmany Tomas hit his seventh homer of the year for Los Mochis, which is 6-4 in the second half.
Algodoneros de Guasave 4, Charros de Jalisco 2 – Roberto Ramos drove in all four Guasave runs with a grand slam in the sixth as the Algodoneros edged the Charros. Grant Gavin allowed two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Julian Ornelas hit a solo homer for Jalisco.
