Naranjeros de Hermosillo 7, Aguilas de Mexicali 3 – Luis Gonzalez hit a two-run homer in the second, Jose Cardona added a solo shot in the third, and the Naranjeros added two more runs in the sixth and seventh innings to improve to 7-2 in the second half of the season. Wilmer Rios allowed one run on four hits in six innings for Hermosillo, striking out five and walking none.
Tomateros de Culiacan 9, Charros de Jalisco 3 – Dwight Smith Jr. hit a grand slam in the sixth, his sixth homer of the year, to put the Tomateros ahead for good, and Cristian Santana added a solo homer, his eighth of the year, as Culiacan improved to 29-15 overall. Smith added an RBI single in the eighth and finished the night 2-for-5 with five RBIs.
Caneros de Los Mochis 7, Mayos de Navojoa 4 – Yasmany Tomas went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer, two runs scored, and two RBIs as Los Mochis rose to 6-3 with the win on Sunday. Navojoa stranded 11 runners and went 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.
Algodoneros de Guasave 3, Sultanes de Monterrey 0 (Game 1/7 Innings) – Taiga Kamichatani threw a two-hit shutout, walking one in seven innings of work as the Algodoneros won the first game of the doubleheader. Yadir Drake drove in the go-ahead run with a sac fly in the first.
Sultanes de Monterrey 6, Algodoneros de Guasave 1 (Game 2/7 Innings) – Monterrey took the lead in the third behind an RBI double from Carlos Sepulveda and a two-run single from Donovan Casey and held on to split the doubleheader. Edgar Torres allowed one run on four hits, walking two and striking out four for Monterrey.
Venados de Mazatlan 6, Yaquis de Obregon 2 – RBI singles in the fourth inning by Miguel Ojeda Jr. and Randy Romero put the Venados ahead for good, and Mazatlan improved to 4-5 in the second half of the season. Christian Villanueva homered for Obregon.
