Five pitchers combined to throw a no-hitter for the Estrellas Orientales, who beat the Tigres del Licey 2-0 at Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal on Tuesday night.

Starter Edwin Uceta went five innings, struck out three and walked three before handing the ball off to the bullpen. Jeffry Yan, Rafael Dolis, Luis Gonzalez, and Neftali Feliz each threw a scoreless inning.

Yan struck out the side in the sixth, Dolis struck out two and walked one in the seventh, Gonzalez tossed a perfect eighth, and former Major Leaguer Feliz faced four batters, walking Michael de La Cruz before retiring Mel Rojas Jr., Francisco Mejia, and Yunior Severino to end the game.

The Estrellas got a run in the top of the second when Robinson Cano scored on a Jose Tena ground out, and added another in the fifth when Jose Barrero scored on a double to left field by Vidal Brujan.

The win gives the fourth-place Estrellas Orientales an 8-9 record, while the second-place Tigres del Licey are 9-8.
