Twenty-nine players from 16 teams in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol have been named to the Mexican All-Star Team for the 92nd LMB All-Star Game, which will be played on June 28 at Walmart Park in Monterrey, the home of the Sultanes de Monterrey.
Fans chose the starters for the LMB All-Star Game in an online vote, with a total of 396,674 votes cast.
Among the 29 players that make up the Mexican All-Star Team roster, the Sultanes de Monterrey and the Acereros de Monclova are sending four, followed by Diablos Rojos del México (3), Charros de Jalisco (3), Toros de Tijuana (3), Algodoneros del Unión Laguna (2), Rieleros de Aguascalientes (1), Dorados de Chihuahua (1), Bravos de León (1), Guerreros de Oaxaca (1), Pericos de Puebla (1), Conspiradores de Querétaro (1), Saraperos de Saltillo (1), Olmecas de Tabasco (1), Tigres de Quintana Roo (1) and El Águila de Veracruz (1).
Ramiro Peña of the Sultanes de Monterrey will be the honorary captain of the Mexican All-Star Team.
For the second consecutive year, the game will pit the LMB All-Stars against the Mexican All-Star Team. Last year, the Mexican All-Star Team won 4-3 at the Alfredo Harp Helú Stadium in Mexico City on June 30, 2025.
Benjamín Gil, manager of the Charros de Jalisco, returns to lead the coaching staff of the Mexican All-Star Team.
The 2026 will be the 92nd edition of the All-Star Game in the league history, and the 11th hosted by the Sultanes. The first was in 1943 at Cuauhtémoc Park, which hosted the All-Star Game four times. Walmart Park has hosted six mid-season classics since it opened in 1990.
