Diablos Rojos del Mexico (50-25) 13, Tigres de Quintana Roo (37-36) 3 – Rio Ruiz and Jose Marmolejos each drove in three runs as the Diablos swept their third straight series and won their 10th straight game. Marmolejos hit a three run homer, and Ruiz had an RBI single in the first and a two-run single in the second as the Reds breezed by the Tigres. Every Diablos’ starter had at least one hit. Rainer Nunez hit a two-run homer for Quintana Roo.

Piratas de Campeche (37-34) 4, Olmecas de Tabasco (44-31) 1 – Five Campeche pitchers combined to hold the Olmecas to a single run on six hits as the Piratas won for the seventh time in 10 games. Connor Hollis and Andrew Stevenson each had RBI doubles for Campeche. A solo homer by Oscar Gonzalez in the first scored the lone run for the Olmecas, who are now six games behind the Diablos Rojos in second place in the Zona Sur.

Guerreros de Oaxaca (39-36) 5, Leones de Yucatan (27-46) 4 – Juan Santana drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth to send Luis Barrera home with the winning run, giving the Guerreros a sweep of the Leones. Joe Corbett, who led LIDOM in saves last winter, took the loss in his Leones’ debut. Juan Santana went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, tripling for the second straight game.
Pericos de Puebla (40-33) 6, El Aguila de Veracruz (34-40) 5 – Sergio Alcantara went 3-for-4 for Puebla, hitting a solo homer in the third and a two-run homer in the sixth, as the Pericos edged El Aguila to hold a two-game lead over Campeche and Oaxaca for third place. Roberto Valenzuela and Daniel Montano each drove in two runs for El Aguila. With the loss, Veracruz is 3 1/2 games out of the final playoff spot, trailing Quintana Roo and Leon.
Bravos de Leon (38-37) 13, Conspiradores de Queretaro (32-42) 0 – Dairon Blanco, Luis Medina, and Esteban Quiroz combined to drive in seven runs for the Bravos as they embarrassed the Conspiradores in the series finale. Blanco and Quiroz each hit two-run homers, while Sandber Pimentel and Jermaine Palacios each hit solo shots for Leon. Starter Felipe Gonzalez threw six shutout innings for Leon, allowing just two hits and walking none while racking up seven strikeouts.
Sultanes de Monterrey (39-35) 7, Acereros de Monclova (39-36) 2 – Josh Lester hit a three-run double as part of a five-run seventh inning for Monterrey, getting the Grey Ghosts a win in the series finale. Kellen Strahm also had three RBIs with an RBI double in the sixth and a single in the seventh. Steven Tarpley allowed two runs on two hits over six innings, walking one and striking out two, surrendering a two-run homer to Leo Heras.

Dorados de Chihuahua (29-46) 9, Saraperos de Saltillo (29-44) 6 (11 Innings) – Gilberto Vizcarra and Brainer Bonaci each had RBI singles, and Juan Yepez drove in a run with a ground out to first as the Dorados scored three in the top of the 11th and held on for the win in the series finale. Damon Dues and Andre Lipcius homered for Chihuahua.

Algodoneros de Union Laguna (34-41) 7, Caliente de Durango (40-34) 1 – Yadir Drake went 2-for-3, hitting his eighth homer of the year, a two-run shot in the sixth, and driving in three runs as the Algodoneros took the final game of the series to keep hope alive for a playoff spot. With the win, Union Laguna stayed two games behind Aguascalientes for the final berth in the Zona Norte.
Rieleros de Aguascalientes (34-37) 8, Charros de Jalisco (38-36) 6 – Jose Orozco’s two-run single in the eighth got the go-ahead run home for the Rieleros, who hold the final playoff spot in the Zona Norte. Orozco also drove in two runs earlier in the game with a pair of sac flies, one in the second and another in the fourth. Kyle Garlick hit his 18th homer of the year for fifth-place Jalisco, which holds a 2 1/2-game edge on the Rieleros.
