Starter Wilmer Rios threw six scoreless innings for Monclova, allowing four hits, three walks, and striking out five. Alejandro Flores hit a solo homer in the bottom of the 11th for Dos Laredos.
Algodoneros de Union Laguna (31-36) 9, Dorados de Chihuahua (25-42) 3 – Union Laguna scored four runs in the fifth and sixth innings as they tripled up Chihuahua. Touki Toussaint allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over 5 2/3 innings, Eguy Rosario homered twice, and Mason Martin, Isan Diaz, and Didi Gregorius all homered for the Algodoneros.

El Aguila de Veracruz (30-36) 8, Guerreros de Oaxaca (36-31) 3 – Andres Alvarez went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and drove in three runs for Veracruz as El Aguila recorded it its 30th win of the year. Cezar Izturis Jr. had a triple and Daniel Montano doubled twice in the win.

Tigres de Quintana Roo (33-32) 6, Conspiradores de Queretaro (30-36) 0 – Manuel Boscan went 3-for-5 with two doubles as the Tigres got production from across the lineup to shut out Queretaro. Darius Vines allowed six hits across six shutout innings, walking one and striking out five for Quintana Roo, and Rainer Nunez hit an RBI triple for the Tigres.
Pericos de Puebla (35-30) 9, Bravos de Leon (36-31) 3 – Cristian Adames went 2-for-5 with two doubles and drove in five and Luis Castro hit a two-run homer as the Pericos pecked at the Bravos. Four Puebla relievers combined to throw four scoreless innings to preserve the lead.

Diablos Rojos del Mexico (42-25) 2, Olmecas de Tabasco (40-27) 0 – Juan Carlos Gamboa’s two-out triple got the Diablos on the board in the top of the ninth, and a single by Rio Ruiz added an insurance run as the Diablos took the opener in the series between the Zona Sur’s top two teams. Diablos starter Ricardo Pinto threw six scoreless innings, allowing four hits and a walk, and Nick “The Win Snake” Vespi threw a perfect eighth inning to earn the win in relief.

Rieleros de Aguascalientes (30-35) 9, Toros de Tijuana (45-21) 4 – The Rieleros won their first game under Adán Muñoz, who took over for Enrique Reyes, who was shown the door after leading Aguascalientes to a 29-35 mark. Amilcar Gomez hit a two-run homer and drove in three for the Rieleros, and Jose Rondon went 2-for-5 with two doubles and five RBIs in the win.

Sultanes de Monterrey (36-30) 7, Charros de Jalisco (34-32) 3 – Harold Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a solo homer, two runs scored, and two RBIs in his first appearance for Monterrey after coming over on loan from Dos Laredos, and Socrates Brito had two RBIs as the Sultanes took the series opener from Jalisco. Mateo Gil hit a two-run homer in the loss for the Charros.
