OMAHA, Neb. – The NCAA announced on Friday evening that Game 1 of the championship series between the Oklahoma Sooners and North Carolina Tar Heels has been moved to 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday.
Originally scheduled for the evening, the game was moved due to the threat of severe weather in Omaha later in the day.
According The Weather Channel, cloud cover is expected to build over eastern Nebraska in the late afternoon and early evening on Saturday, with the possibility of thunderstorms and one to two inches of rainfall in the evening.
A revised schedule for the championship series is below.
