Don't tell the Olmecas de Tabasco that they're the underdogs in the Serie del Rey.

Behind six scoreless innings from Austin Warner and a two-RBI night from Oscar Gonzalez and Jose Godoy, the Olmecas took Game 1 7-1 on the road in Tijuana, drawing first blood and stealing home field advantage in the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol's championship series.

Warner struck out five and walked one, allowing just three hits while keeping the Toros baffled.

With runners on second and third and two outs in the top of the third, Jasson Atondo's single scored Calvin Estrada to give Tabasco a 1-0 lead, and then Jose Godoy scooted home when the throw from Tijuana shortstop Jonathan Guzman was errant. Marco Hernandez followed with a walk, and then Seth Beer was hit by a pitch to load the bases for Oscar Gonzalez, who singled to left to score Atondo and Hernandez to make it 4-0.

Tijuana didn't get on the board until the seventh, when Tomas Telis hit a sac fly to left field to score Phillip Evans with Tijuana's lone run.

With one out in the ninth, Calvin Estrada triple to score Gilberto Celestino, and Jose Godoy followed with a two-run homer to cap the scoring.

Game 2 is Wednesday night at 10:35 p.m. EDT, with Jeremy Rhoades pitching for Tabasco against Adonis Medina for Tijuana.
