Two teams still searching for their first win meet under the lights to close out Sunday at Pim Mulier Stadion. Curaçao and Czechia both opened Honkbalweek Haarlem with gut-punch losses — and the loser here falls to 0-2 with the round-robin clock ticking. Here’s how to follow the box scores….but here’s how to actually watch the games!
When and where
Curaçao vs. Czechia is set for 19:30 CEST on Sunday, June 28 — 1:30 p.m. ET — at Pim Mulier Stadion in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
How to stream
The game streams live on Honkbalsoftbal.tv with English-language commentary. A tournament pass for all 20 games runs €19.99 (about $24), with single-game access available for roughly $3. Free registration unlocks highlights, interviews and recaps.
What’s at stake
Both sides arrive stung. Curaçao (0-1) lost a 3-2 heartbreaker to Chinese Taipei on a 10th-inning squeeze, despite a no-earned-runs start from Nelmerson Angela. Czechia (0-1), the EK 2025 bronze medalists, were walked off 4-3 by the International Globetrotters on a José-Andrés Paula single, with Marek Krejčiřík’s two-run homer their lone power. For a six-team round robin that feeds straight into the playoff stage, an 0-2 hole is a steep climb — making this the most urgent game on the Sunday slate.
Starting pitchers
Chinese Taipei sends right-hander Kuo Tzu-Chuan to the mound; the Netherlands counter with Scott Prins.
Where they rank
Czechia sits No. 16 in the WBSC World Rankings; Curaçao, the reigning Caribbean Cup winner, is No. 29. Ranking points are on the line for both national teams.
