After three seasons as manager, Lorenzo Bundy will be leaving the Diablos Rojos del Mexico's manager's office for the front office.

Bundy, 66, will transition to a role as sporting advisor with the Diablos, where he will work full-time in a year-round role supporting the scouting and player selection staff, as well as work with the athletic development programs at the Alfredo Harp Helú Baseball Academy in San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca, the Diablos said in a press release. Throughout the LMB season, Bundy will also visit the team at both away and home games, working closely with the front office.

In 2024, Bundy returned to the Diablos as manager of the club where he won three championships in four seasons as a player, leading the club to its first Serie del Rey title since 2014. The club won the title again in 2025, sweeping the Charros de Jalisco in the Serie del Rey and winning consecutive titles for the first time since the 2002 and 2003 seasons.

Under Bundy's leadership, the Diablos went 198-73 in the regular season the last three years and claimed two championships. In 322 total games between the regular season and playoffs, he compiled a record of 236-86, giving him a .732 winning percentage.
