Baseball fans in the United States will be able to watch the home games of the Algodoneros de Guasave on TV this year.

The Algodoneros, who rejoined the Liga Mexicana del Pacifico in 2019 after a five-year hiatus, reached a deal to air their home games in the U.S. on Estrella TV, a Burbank, California-based network owned by Media Co.

“... In the United States we see a very powerful baseball, with many home runs, but in Mexico you will see something different, because in the LMPB we have a very bunting style of baseball, it is the classic Latin style, the spice with which it is played in our country, the people here have to see it,” Algodoneros President Alfredo Arámburo Nájar said in a press release announcing the deal.

Estrella TV has affiliated stations in 37 markets in 16 states across the U.S., and widely distributes Mexican programming and sports to the American audience.
