Aguilas de Mexicali (12-6) 10, Venados de Mazatlan (7-11) 8 - A pair of two-run homers, one from Moises Gutierrez and one from Esteban Quiroz, got the Aguilas on the board in the fifth, and Gutierrez and Quiroz drove in three runs apiece as the Aguilas cut the Algodoneros lead in the first half to two games. Six different Aguilas had at least two hits in the game, and starter Humberto Castellanos threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits, four walks, and striking out six. Gaige Howard drew four walks for Mazatlan.

Charros de Jalisco (10-8) 6, Algodoneros de Guasave (14-4) 4 - Starter Ronald Medrano allowed two runs on five hits over five innings, striking out seven and walking one, and Jose Angel Cecena went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and three RBIs as the Charros won for the 10th time this season. Victor Labrada hit his league-leading fifth homer in the loss for Guasave, and Albert Lara contributed a three-run homer for the Algodoneros.

Tomateros de Culiacan (10-8) 5, Naranjeros de Hermosillo (10-7) 4 (10 Innings) - Ramiro Pena's sac fly gave the Tomateros a lead in the top of the 10th, and a two-run double later in the inning by Fabricio Macias gave Culiacan a cushion. They needed it, as the Naranjeros scored two in the bottom of the frame and had the tying run 90 feet away, but couldn't complete the rally. Luis Verdugo hit a solo homer and had two RBIs for the Naranjeros.

Yaquis de Obregon (9-9) 7, Mayos de Navojoa (5-13) 6 - Sebastian Elizalde's solo homer in the bottom of the ninth, his fourth of the year, got the Yaquis back to .500 on the season. Navojoa got on the board early, getting an RBI triple from Ramon Mendoza and a two-run homer from Alexis Wilson in the second. In the seventh, Jose Cardona tied the game at five for Obregon with a two-run triple, and Kevin Villavicenio had a pair of RBI singles for the Yaquis.

Jaguares de Nayarit (6-12) 5, Caneros de Los Mochis (6-11) 4 - Seventh-inning RBI doubles by Alonso Mendoza and Chavez Young sandwiched around an RBI single by Carlos Sepulveda got the Jaguares their sixth win of the year.
