The Pensacola Blue Wahoos are hosting three college baseball exhibition games this fall at their home ballpark, Blue Wahoos Stadium. Pensacola is the Double-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins.

Here is the 2026 Fall Exhibition Schedule at Blue Wahoos Stadium:

Saturday, October 10 – Florida State vs. Auburn – 2:00 p.m. ET
Saturday, October 17: Alabama vs. Georgia Tech – TBD
Saturday, October 24: Florida vs. Troy – TBD

Two College World Series teams coming to Pensacola

Two of the six teams playing exhibition games at Blue Wahoos Stadium this fall were in the 2026 College World Series.

On October 17, the Alabama Crimson Tide will play the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in an exhibition game. In 2026, Alabama made the College World Series for the first time this century.

Despite losing their first two games in Omaha, it was a step in the right direction for head coach Rob Vaughn’s team. The Crimson Tide finished with a 42-21 overall record and a 18-12 record in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play. They won a regional and super regional at Sewell-Thomas Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Another team that made the College World Series this season is Troy. The Trojans will make their way to Blue Wahoos Stadium in Pensacola on October 24. They will play the Florida Gators, which is a familiar opponent for them from the 2026 college baseball season.

Troy defeated Florida twice during the Gainesville regional in the 2026 NCAA Tournament. They won the regional championship and advanced to a super regional that was at their home ballpark, Riddle-Pace Field. After taking down Little Rock in two games, the Trojans advanced to the College World Series for the first time in program history.

Two major Florida schools making their way to Blue Wahoos Stadium

The Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles will play fall exhibition games at Blue Wahoos Stadium in 2026. On October 10, Florida State will take on Auburn. On October 24, Florida will take on Troy.

In 2026, the Florida Gators finished with a 41-21 overall record and were 18-12 in SEC play. They made the NCAA Tournament for the 18th-straight season. Their NCAA Tournament run in 2026 came to an abrupt halt when Troy defeated the Gators in the Gainesville regional title. The matchup in Pensacola is a rematch of that NCAA Tournament battle from this past season.

In 2026, the Florida State Seminoles finished the season with a 40-19 overall record and a 19-11 record in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play. Much like Florida, their season came to an end during the regionals of the NCAA Tournament. The St. John’s Red Storm took down Florida State in the Tallahassee regional championship.

Georgia Tech and Auburn round out the group of teams heading to the Florida panhandle

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Auburn Tigers are heading to Pensacola for fall exhibition games as well.

Auburn will play Florida State at Blue Wahoos Stadium. Then, on October 17, Georgia Tech will play Alabama at the Minor League Baseball venue.

In 2026, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets had one of their best seasons in program history. They finished with a 50-11 overall record and a 26-5 record in ACC play. The Yellow Jackets won the ACC regular season and tournament titles. They are the reigning back-to-back ACC regular season champions.

In 2026, the Auburn Tigers also had a strong season. They finished with a 42-22 overall record and a 17-13 record in SEC play. For the third time this decade, the Tigers made a super regional in the NCAA Tournament.

Auburn and head coach Butch Thompson will head into 2026 fall exhibition play seeking their first trip to the College World Series since 2022.
