Oklahoma’s Jason Walk with Three Straight Multi-Hit Games in the College World Series

Oklahoma outfielder Jason Walk has hit a hot streak during the Sooners’ huge run through the 2026 College World Series.

Walk has multiple hits in each of his last three games. He had two hits in both games Oklahoma played against the Georgia Bulldogs at Charles Schwab Field on June 15 and 17. Walk also had two hits in the Sonners’ latest game against the North Carolina Tar Heels in the national championship on June 20.

The Oklahoma outfielder also had two RBIs in the games against Georgia on June 17 and North Carolina on June 20. Against Georgia on June 17, he hit two solo home runs in the 11-4 win for the Sooners that sent them to the national championship.

His two home runs were a part of five total home runs in that game for Oklahoma. His teammate, Dasan Harris, also homered twice in that game and Trey Gambill also added a long ball.

Walk in 2026 with Oklahoma

The 2026 college baseball season is Walk’s junior season with Oklahoma. With the help of this hot streak he is on in Omaha, he is putting together his best season to date.

In 2026, Walk has a .282 batting average with nine doubles, six home runs, and 26 RBIs. Much like other seasons in his collegiate career, he has been a base-stealing threat with 18 stolen bases this season. In nearly three full seasons with the Sooners, he has 48 career stolen bases.

Walk’s streak of three straight multi-hit games is a small part of a larger streak that he is on. He has a hit in every game dating back to May 16 against the Tennessee Volunteers. That is 13 straight games with a hit for the Oklahoma outfielder.

Up next for Oklahoma

After a 9-3 win for the Sooners on Saturday, Oklahoma is one win away from its first national championship since 1994. Game two of the national championship series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha is at 2:30 p.m. ET. The game is on ABC.
