The SSG Landers continued to build their 2025 roster by agreeing to terms with free-agent reliever Noh Kyung-eun. The 1.5 billion won extension will keep Noh with the Landers for at least two seasons with an option for a third year at 900 million won.
The 40-year-old has appeared in 536 games in 22 seasons with the Doosan Bears, Lotte Giants, and SSG Landers, but 2024 was arguably his best season. Noh emerged as the club’s premier set-up man, leading the team with a 2.90 ERA and 38 holds.
After missing out on the fifth and final playoff spot on a one-game tiebreaker, the Landers have been the most active team thus far in KBO free agency. The club has already re-signed third baseman Choi Jeong and starter Drew Anderson while bringing in former MLB pitcher Mitch White.
