While the likes of Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge will be fighting to earn a World Series ring, one player has already secured some jewelry.

Twenty-seven-year-old Taylor Trammell will win a ring regardless of which team wins the Fall Classic. Trammell played 116 games for the Seattle Mariners from 2021 to 2023. He did not make the Opening Day roster and was designated for assignment. The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed him on April 2.

Trammell played in five games for the Dodgers. He went hitless and made just one start. He was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on April 16. His next stop would be the New York Yankees. The club claimed him on April 18. He made his Yankees debut on April 20.

He played in five games for the Yankees and recorded one hit, one RBI, and two runs. He has spent most of the season in Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and slashed .256/.381/.488 in the minor leagues.

Trammell spent time on both big league rosters. Officially, ownership decides which players get rings. However, it is traditionally understood that players who spent time with the club in the big leagues will get a ring.

Ohtani, Judge, Stanton, and Cole highlight the players fighting for their first World Series this year. Regardless of who wins, Taylor Trammell can say he was part of a championship ball club.
