Here are three observations that World Baseball Network made about the 2026 roster for the USA Collegiate National Team.
Florida Gators with the Most Players on the Team
The Florida Gators are well-represented on the 2026 USA Collegiate National Team that is heading to Taiwan, with the most players from any school.

Along with being SEC Pitcher of the Year, King was a National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) first-team All-American.
Another pitcher from the Gators heading to Taiwan is Joshua Whritenour. The right-hander from Tampa is coming off his redshirt-freshman season with Florida. In 2026, Whritenour had a 5.40 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings of work.
He was a great bullpen arm for the Gators, recording seven saves last season. He also allowed an opposing batting average of .223.
Jackson Barberi completes the trio of Florida pitchers heading to Taichung City. Barberi is coming off his sophomore season in Gainesville, where he improved some aspects of his game from his freshman season.
His ERA dropped to 3.13 in 37 1/3 innings of work this season. His ERA was 4.45 a season ago. Barberi also struck out more batters this season. He had 55 strikeouts this year compared to 41 a season ago.
Barberi also picked up five wins and two saves on the mound with the Gators in 2026.

Much like Florida, the UCLA Bruins also have some pitchers on the USA Collegiate National roster that is heading to Taiwan.
The first of two Bruins pitchers heading to Taichung City is right-hander Wylan Moss. In 2026, Moss had a 2.49 ERA in 65 innings of work. Over that same stretch, he also had 76 strikeouts.
Nationally, Moss was one of the best relievers in all of college baseball this past season. He was first-team All-Big Ten and an NCBWA Stopper of the Year finalist. The NCBWA also named him a second-team All-American.
The second UCLA pitcher heading to Taiwan with Team USA is Easton Hawk. In 2026, during his sophomore season, Hawk had a spectacular 1.93 ERA in 42 innings of work with 52 strikeouts.
Hawk was exceptional as the Bruins’ closer in 2026. He had 14 saves this past season, which was tied for the second-most in all of college baseball.
Much like Moss, Hawk was first-team All-Big Ten selection and an NCBWA Stopper of the Year finalist. D1 Baseball and Baseball America named Hawk a third-team All-American.
College baseball home run leader Tague Davis is heading to Taiwan
