This season, Rogers has six hits in what is his fourth season playing college baseball. He is a redshirt-senior and did not play at all during his freshman season in 2022.
Rogers and his career at Vanderbilt
Before playing at UCF in Orlando this weekend, Rogers spent three seasons playing with the Vanderbilt Commodores in Nashville.
Rogers had 10 hits in three seasons with Vanderbilt. He also had two home runs and four RBIs during those three years.
Rogers surpassed his career home run total with the Commodores during this past weekend against Cincinnati.
During his time in Nashville, Rogers was a part of two Southeastern Conference (SEC) Tournament title teams.
Before his time at Vanderbilt, coming out of high school, Rogers was the third-best player from the state of Indiana, playing for Carmel High School. He was also a top 30 outfield prospect in his high school class nationally.
