On Wednesday, Venezuela and the Netherlands played at Estadio Panamericano. Venezuela defeated the Netherlands 11-0, eliminating them from Premier12.
Venezuela had a scorching start, with a four-run first inning and a four-run third inning, extending their lead to 8-0.
During this eight-run stretch, Venezuela tallied nine hits, and Herlis Rodriguez and Ehire Adrianza hit home runs. Adrianza also had a two-run double during this time in the first inning.

Hernán Perez then homered for the second straight game to extend the Venezuela lead even further to 9-0.

In the fifth inning, Adrianza hit his second home run of the game. This gave the Venezuelans a 10-0 lead.
In the 7th inning, Dixon Machado came on to pinch hit and knocked in Perez, extending the Venezuela lead to 11-0.
The game officially ended in the seventh inning under the run rule, resulting in Venezuela’s win. With the win, the Venezuelans earned a spot in the super round in Tokyo. The Netherlands, on the other hand, were eliminated because of their defeat.

The United States, Mexico, and Panama will compete for the final spot in pool A for the super round. All three teams will play on Thursday night.
