Now that the MLB draft lottery has set the order for the 2025 MLB draft, here is a “way-too-early” mock draft.

  1. Washington Nationals – Ethan Holliday, SS/3B, Stillwater HS

Until baseball starts up again, the consensus number-one pick has tons of power and is an unreal high school talent.

  1. Los Angeles Angels – Jace LaViolette, OF, Texas A&M

He is an all-around great baseball player, . Hand, he is the best college baseball player heading into next season; he can draw walks, hit for power, and is great in the field.

  1. Seattle Mariners – Jamie Arnold, LHP, Florida State

The Mariners just took Cijntje in the first round of 2024. Arnold, a pitching Golden Spikes finalist, could be another great arm talent Seattle adds.

  1. Colorado Rockies – Kayson Cunningham, SS, Johnson HS

Big shortstop Texas commit after getting Charlie Condon, the Rockies should add more younger power to their farm system.

  1. Louis Cardinals – Eli Willits, SS, Fort Cobb-Broxton HS

Perfect super young switch-hitting talent to add after drafting JJ Wetherholt.

  1. Pittsburgh Pirates – Brendan Summerhill, OF, Arizona

The Pirates add Summerhill to a dense list of bats, including Konnor Griffin and fellow left-handed hitter Termarr Johnson.

  1. Miami Marlins – Tyler Bremner, RHP, UC Santa Barbara

Bremner slides a little to Miami as they add another great arm to their farm system.

  1. Toronto Blue Jays – Kruz Schoolcraft, LHP/1B, Sunset HS

Toronto takes an opportunity on a two-way player. Schoolcraft is a player they will experiment with in their farm system, which ranks near the bottom of the MLB.

  1. Cincinnati Reds – Aiva Arquette, 2B, Oregon State

Big-time power bat at Washington that the Reds as they land one of the best transfer players in college baseball.

  1. Chicago White Sox – Seth Hernandez, RHP, Corona HS

Hernandez has a high-velocity fastball that the White Sox capitalize on. They drafted Hagen Smith back-to-back years ago and then a very talented high school arm.
