2024 Chinese Professional Baseball League Playoff Series Schedule Unveiled

Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) wraps up its season, and the playoff schedule has been unveiled. It will be a best-of-five series held from October 12-15 for the Rakuten Monkeys and the Uni-President Lions.

The CTBC Brothers finished first in the CPBL standings, being crowned season champions for the 19th time in their franchise history. The winner of the matchup between the Monkeys and the Lions will play the Brothers in the Taiwan Series.

What will make this series interesting is that the Uni-Lions will begin the series with a 1-0 advantage since they have a better overall record compared to the Monkeys. The winner of this playoff series between the Monkeys and Lions will advance to face the Brothers in the Taiwan Series.

The first game will be played on October 12 at the Taipei Dome. Game two will be played on October 13 in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The third and fourth games will be played in Tainan, Taiwan.
