 Matt Tallarini - World Baseball Network  |    Jan 1st, 2025 8:43pm EST

The 2025 Curacao Professional Baseball League will play Thursday, January 16, until the championship game on Sunday, January 19, with all games being played at Tio Daou Ballpark in Willemstad, Curacao.

The Federashon di Beisbol di Korsou operates the CPB league. Jedrek Magdalena is the president of the Federashon di Beisbol di Korsou.

The three teams playing in the 2025 Curacao Professional Baseball League are the Curacao Goats, the Willemstad Cannons, and the Curacao Suns.

The Curacao Suns will play the Willemstad Cannons on January 16 at 9 p.m. EST, the Curacao Goats will go up against the Curacao Suns on January 17 at 9 p.m. EST, and the Willemstad Cannons will play the Curacao goats on January 18 at 9 p.m. EST.

The 2025 CPB league championship game will be on January 19 at 8 p.m. EST, with the top two teams finishing in the three-day league.

There has not been an announcement if the 2025 CPB league will have seven or nine innings games.

There will be a tiebreaker rule for runs for and against if teams are tied with the same record alongside head-to-head.

All three teams are returning from the 2023 CPB league season.

The CPB league operated from December 3 until December 10 in 2023, and the Curacao Suns won in the championship game to earn a berth to the 2024 Caribbean Series at loanDepot Park in Miami, courtesy of a game-winning single to center field in the bottom of the seventh inning off of Willemstad Cannons relief pitcher Eric Mendez and won 6-5 at Tio Daou Ballpark.

The Curacao Suns lost in the third place game of the 2024 Caribbean Series to the 2024 Panama Probeis champion, the Federales de Chiriqui, 5-4 at loanDepot Park last February in their second consecutive year at the event.
