The United States defeated Panama on Tuesday to get their second win of the Premier12. The hits came in bunches for the team as they were able to rack up 12. Four hits came from Chandler Simpson, the United States’ lead-off man.
The right fielder was not only able to get those four hits in five at-bats but also scored a run himself and had two RBI. The two RBI happened on a hit up the middle into centerfield, putting the game out of reach for Panama.
