Fans of winter baseball should mark their calendars on the second weekend of November.
The Tiburones de La Guaira will face the defending champions of the Liga Venezolana de Beisbol Profesional in a pair of games at Miami's loanDepot Park, the home of Major League Baseball's Miami Marlins, on Nov. 14-15. As the full LVBP schedule has yet to be released, it is unclear whether the games will be regular season games or exhibitions.
Proceeds from ticket sales from the two games, being marketed as "Choque de Gigantes 2026", which is Spanish for "Clash of the Giants 2026", will benefit relief efforts for Venezuela in the aftermath of the two earthquakes that hit the South American nation in June.
Miami Marlins season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets for the pair of games on Monday, Sept. 14, while fans who purchase tickets to a remaining Marlins home game during the 2026 season via the Marlins website will be able to purchase tickets for the pair of games in November beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
Second Game Added In Frisco For Clasico Caribeno - A second game between the LVBP's Cardenales de Lara and the LMP's Charros de Jalisco has been added to the preseason schedule.
The game will be played at 6:30 p.m. EDT on Oct. 9, 2026 at Riders Field in Frisco, Texas, the home of the Double-A Frisco RoughRiders. Tickets are on sale via ClickEvent.com.
The second game of the series will be played on Oct. 11, 2026 at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, Texas, at 7 p.m. EDT.
