The Kentucky Wildcats revealed their fall exhibition schedule in 2026. The schedule for head coach Nick Mingione’s team features four games. Two out of those four games are against power conference teams.

October 4 – Cincinnati Bearcats – Mason, Ohio
October 11 – Xavier Musketeers – Lexington, Ky.
October 16 – Indiana Hoosiers – Bloomington, Ind.
October 25 – Morehead State Eagles – Lexington, Ky.
Breaking down Kentucky’s fall baseball opponents
The first opponent for the Kentucky Wildcats on their fall baseball exhibition schedule is the Cincinnati Bearcats. Cincinnati has been on an upward trajectory as a baseball program the past few seasons. The Bearcats’ head coach, Jordan Bischel, has led them to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. Over the past two seasons, Cincinnati has also won 71 games.
The next opponent for the Wildcats in fall baseball is the Xavier Musketeers. In 2026, Xavier finished with a 28-30 overall record. However, the Musketeers were solid against Big East opponents with a 15-8 record in those games. They finished third in the Big East standings behind the UConn Huskies and the St. John’s Red Storm.
The Indiana Hoosiers are the third team on Kentucky’s fall exhibition schedule in 2026. This past season, Indiana finished with a 23-31 overall record and a 9-21 record in Big 10 play. The Hoosiers have missed the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons after making the NCAA Tournament in back-to-back seasons in 2023 and 2024.
The final opponent for the Wildcats in their 2026 fall baseball slate is Morehead State. The Eagles finished with a 31-24 overall record and were 15-12 in Ohio Valley Conference games.
Kentucky faced off against Morehead State in a midweek game during the 2026 college baseball season. On February 17, they lost to the Eagles 8-6 at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington.

In 2026, the Kentucky Wildcats finished the regular season with a 33-23 overall record and a 13-17 record in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play. The Wildcats snuck into the NCAA Tournament and played in the Morgantown regional. Kentucky picked up two wins in the regional against Wake Forest and West Virginia before being knocked out of the NCAA Tournament.
