Leones del Escogido (9-4) 2, Aguilas Cibaenas (3-9) 1 - Yamaico Navarro hit a two-run homer in the fourth, and the red hot Leones allowed just seven baserunners on four hits and three walks to take their eighth straight win on Sunday. Tigres del Licey (9-4) 2, Estrellas Orientales (5-7) 1 - A seventh-inning single by Gustavo Nunez gave the Tigres runners at first and second with one out, a double steal moved Nunez to second and Elier Hernandez to third, and then a wild pitch by Jefry Yan sent Hernandez home with the go-ahead run as Licey kept pace with Escogido. Yamal Encarnacion singled home the Tigres' first run in the second. Cesar Prieto had an RBI double in the loss.
