The Mississippi State Bulldogs will play two fall exhibition games in Biloxi. The games will be played at Keesler Federal Park. The ballpark is normally home to the Biloxi Shuckers, the Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Here is the 2026 fall exhibition schedule at Keesler Federal Park for the Bulldogs:

October 9 - Auburn Tigers - 7 p.m. ET

October 10 - Southern Miss Golden Eagles - 3 p.m. ET

In a press release from Mississippi State Athletics, head coach Brian O'Connor was thrilled with the team's plan to play games in Biloxi this fall.

"We're excited about returning to Biloxi in October," said O'Connor. "We had an incredible experience down there in March and are looking forward to the opportunity to play baseball in front of our fans from the coast again. I'm proud of the team my staff has assembled and can't wait to get them out there this fall and see what we can do against high-level competition like Auburn and Southern Miss."

In 2026, Mississippi State played a game in Biloxi this past college baseball season on March 10. It was a midweek matchup against the Tulane Green Wave. Mississippi State won that game at Kessler Federal Park 11-7.

A look at Mississippi State's 2026 fall opponents in Biloxi

Auburn and Southern Miss are two familiar opponents for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs went a combined 2-3 against both teams this past season.

The Bulldogs defeated Southern Miss 12-0 on March 24 at Dudy Noble Field. That game ended under a run rule.

They also picked up one win against the Auburn Tigers in the final weekend of the regular season. That win came on May 7 as Mississippi State won 10-3 in Starkville.

In 2026, Southern Miss had a stellar season. The Golden Eagles finished with a 44-17 overall record and a 22-8 record in Sun Belt play.

Southern Miss won the Sun Belt regular-season and tournament titles. It was their third Sun Belt tournament title in four years and their first-ever Sun Belt regular-season title.

The Golden Eagles then hosted a regional at Pete Taylor Park in Hattiesburg during the 2026 NCAA Tournament.

In 2026, Auburn also put together a big-time season. The Tigers finished with a 42-22 overall record and a 17-13 record in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play.

Auburn hosted a regional at Plainsman Park and won it. This led to the Tigers playing in a super regional at Plainsman Park for the second straight season.

Mississippi State season results in 2026

In 2026, the Mississippi State Bulldogs had a great season. It was O'Connor's first year as the head coach in Starkville after 22 seasons with the Virginia Cavaliers. While at Virginia, he won over 900 games and also won the 2015 national championship.

Mississippi State finished the 2026 season with a 43-19 overall record and a 16-14 record in SEC play.

The Bulldogs hosted a regional at Dudy Noble Field and advanced to a super regional for the first time since 2021.
