Japan will face the Czech Republic in a pair of exhibition games at the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya, Japan, to prepare for the 2024 WBSC Premier 12 in November.
The pair of exhibition games will be played on November 9-10, and Japan will open tournament play on November 13 against World No. 11 Australia at the Nagoya Dome before traveling to Taipei City, Taiwan, for the remainder of group play.

Japan is ranked No. 1 in the world, and has been assigned to a group with the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Chinese Taipei, South Korea, and Australia for the 2024 Premier12. The country finished third in the inaugural Premier12 in 2015 and won the 2019 Premier12, defeating South Korea in the final at the Tokyo Dome.
The Czech Republic is No. 15 in the WBSC’s World Baseball Rankings.
The Vantelin Dome Nagoya, built in 1997, seats 36,418 for baseball and is the home to Nippon Professional Baseball’s Chunichi Dragons.
