 Alfred Ezman - World Baseball Network  |    Mar 10th, 2025 1:00pm EDT

Here are World Baseball Network’s top 25 college baseball rankings as of March 10.

The number next to the team’s name indicates how much they moved from last week’s rankings. A (-) sign indicates no movement and/or a new team into the top 25.

1. Tennessee Volunteers (-) – The Tennessee Volunteers remain No. 1 in the country in our rankings as they have the entire season. They are one of two undefeated teams left in the country after completing a sweep of St. Bonaventure and taking midweek wins from Radford and Xavier.

2. Louisiana State University Tigers (-) – The LSU Tigers remain firmly in the second spot after a series sweep against North Alabama this weekend and back-to-back wins over North Dakota State midweek. Anthony Eyanson had a 15-strikeout performance in his start on Saturday.

3. Florida State Seminoles (+1) – The Florida State Seminoles are the second remaining unbeaten team in the country alongside Tennessee. They swept Lipscomb over the weekend and also beat North Florida and Bethune-Cookman midweek.

4. Arkansas Razorbacks (+1) – After two wins over Louisiana-Monroe midweek and a weekend sweep of Portland, Arkansas climbs a spot in the top five. The Razorbacks outscored their opponents 64-10 in the five games they played.

5. Florida Gators (-2) – Despite an ugly midweek loss to UCF, the Gators recovered with a win over Florida Atlantic and a dominant weekend sweep of Harvard. They outscored the Crimson 41-6 and mercy-ruled them in all three games.

6. Georgia Bulldogs (+1) – It’s now 15 wins in a row for head coach Wes Johnson and his Georgia Bulldogs. Ryland Zaborowski homered five times over the weekend against Columbia and finished with 15 RBI.

7. Clemson Tigers (+1) – Clemson is just as hot as Georgia with 13 wins in a row. During a weekend sweep of Davidson, Cam Cannarella finally hit his first home run of the season on Sunday.

8. North Carolina Tar Heels (-2) – The Tar Heels dropped in the rankings after losing the series against Stanford over the weekend. However, they did get a big win midweek against Coastal Carolina, which will keep them afloat in the top 10.

9. Oregon State Beavers (-) – The Oregon State Beavers stay put at ninth simply because they only played three games this week. That being said, head coach Mitch Canham’s team did sweep San Diego in those three games over the weekend.

10. Texas A&M Aggies (-) – D1 Baseball’s preseason No. 1 overall team looked noticeably better this week. A midweek win over Texas Southern and a series win over New Mexico State have spirits a little higher in College Station. Ryan Prager and Justin Lamkin combined for 17 strikeouts during their weekend starts.

11. Texas Longhorns (+1) – Texas won all their games this week with a weekend sweep against Santa Clara and a mercy rule midweek win over Texas A&M Corpus-Christi. Jalin Flores played great with eight hits in those four games.

12. Wake Forest Demon Deacons (+1) – Much like Texas, Wake Forest also won all their games this week. This group of wins included a midweek win over Appalachian State and a weekend series sweep of Notre Dame. Marek Houston was phenomenal with a 10 RBI-game on Friday and six hits in all four games.

13. Oregon Ducks (+1) – A dominant midweek shoutout against Utah Tech was followed by a weekend series sweepover a good USC Trojans team. Oregon has now won 11 games in a row and has an undefeated start to Big 10 play.

14. Virginia Cavaliers (-3) – It was a subpar weekend for the Virginia Cavaliers as they dropped their first ACC series to the Boston College Eagles. Despite a midweek win over Dartmouth, Virginia drops in the rankings due to losing a series to a team that was 4-5 overall heading into the weekend.

15. Vanderbilt Commodores (+1) – Vanderbilt had a very good week with a midweek win over St. Bonaventure and then a weekend series sweep against Xavier. In the four games they played, the Commodores outscored their opponents 39-5.

16. Oklahoma State Cowboys (-1) – It was a bit of a back-and-forth week for Oklahoma State. They went 3-2 during their five games. They both won and lost against Winthrop in the midweek slate. Then, they won two out of three against Illinois State. The Cowboys run-ruled the Redbirds in the final two games and outscored them 34-2 after losing to them on Friday.

17. North Carolina State Wolfpack (+1) – The Wolfpack took down both UNC Greensboro and Campbell during the midweek slate and gave up just one run in both of those games. They went on to sweep Wright State over the weekend. Ryan Marohn threw a complete game shutout to complete the weekend sweep.

18. Duke Blue Devils (-1) – A blowout loss to the Cal Golden Bears on Friday causes Duke to switch spots with N.C. State. That being said, the Blue Devils went on to win the series versus Cal and also dominated North Carolina A&T in a midweek matchup.

19. University of California-Santa Barbara Gauchos (+1) – It was a wonderful week for UC Santa Barbara. In one of the biggest midweek games this week, they dominated the USC Trojans beating them 8-1. Then, they swept Cal State Northridge. LeTrey McCollum hit a walk-off home run on Sunday that completed a cycle for him and got the Gauchos the sweep.

20. Oklahoma Sooners (-1) – A shutout loss during the midweek to Dallas Baptist is the difference here for Oklahoma. However, they only drop a spot because of a weekend series sweep over Sam Houston State.

21. Mississippi State Bulldogs (+1) – Mississippi State had their best four-game stretch of the season. They got revenge and defeated Southern Miss in a midweek battle and swept Queens. Over the course of their four games, they outscored their opponents 46-11.

22. Alabama Crimson Tide (-1) – The Crimson Tide drop a spot as their undefeated stretch came to an end with Presbyterian beating them on Sunday. However, they did win the series against the Blue Hose and also won two midweek games against Jacksonville State and Troy.

23. Arizona Wildcats (+2) – A four-game weekend series for Arizona against Pepperdine resulted in a sweep. During the Wildcats’ 21-2 win on Saturday, the team put 25 hits together and Mason White had a five-hit game with four RBIs.

24. Kentucky Wildcats (-1) – A loss to Wofford dropped Kentucky down a spot. Otherwise, the week was good for head coach Nick Mingione’s team as they got a series win over Wofford and defeated Eastern Kentucky midweek 16-0.

25. Texas Christian University Horned Frogs (-) – The TCU Horned Frogs are back in the rankings after a fabulous week. They beat Air Force in two midweek games, outscoring them 28-7. Then, they swept Fresno State to build up a five-game win streak.

Dropped From the Rankings – Coastal Carolina

Top Matchups to Watch this Week in College Baseball, March 11-16

Florida vs. Florida State (Mar. 11) – These two college baseball powerhouses meet in this big-time Sunshine State rivalry. Both teams are a combined 30-2 overall this season and are top five teams in the country who will battle it out.

Dallas Baptist vs. Oklahoma State (Mar. 11) – The Dallas Baptist Patriots already got a big, midweek win over Oklahoma. This time, they meet up against Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have struggled in midweeks this season with losses to Winthrop and Texas State.

Liberty vs. Clemson (Mar. 11-12) – The Clemson Tigers have back-to-back midweek games versus the Liberty Flames. Both teams are on a roll with Clemson winning 13 games in a row and Liberty riding a four-game win streak. This is a good set of two games to watch this week at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
