Jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first, the Olmecas de Tabasco never took their foot off the gas.

Staked to that early lead, Tabasco starter Daniel Camarena allowed a single run on just two hits and a walk over seven innings as the Olmecas topped the Toros de Tijuana 9-1 in Game 4 of the Serie del Rey, evening the best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

With two outs and runners on second and third, Calvin Estrada singled home Carlos Arellano in the bottom of the first for a 1-0 Tabasco lead. Two batters later, Jose Godoy drew a bases-loaded walk to score Marco Hernandez, and then a single by Domingo Leyba scored Seth Beer and Estrada for a four-run lead.

Beer singled in Arellano in the second for a 5-0 Olmecas lead.

In the top of the third, Jonathan Guzman hit a one-out triple, and then Tijuana got on the board when Gilberto Celestino's ground out to to first allowed Guzman to score and cut the lead to four runs.

Meanwhile, Camarena cruised through the powerful Tijuana lineup, retiring the side in order in each of his last five innings, striking out five batters.

Estrada added a solo homer to reestablish the five-run Tabasco lead in the bottom of the third.

The Olmecas added three more in the bottom of the seventh, with Luis Hernandez drawing a bases-loaded walk and Arellano's one-out single scoring Godoy as Tabasco stayed hot.

With the series even at two games apiece, Game 5 will be played Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT, with Daniel Martinez starting for Tijuana against Austin Warner for Tabasco. Monday is a travel day, with Game 6 scheduled for 10:35 p.m. EDT Tuesday in Tijuana.
