On Saturday, October 10, the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas Jayhawks will play a fall baseball exhibition game at the Field of Dreams in Dyersville, Iowa.
The field has hosted three Major League Baseball games since 2021. A list of the MLB teams that have played in Dyersville includes the Chicago White Sox, New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Minnesota Twins.
The field was also the setting for the hit baseball movie Field of Dreams, which was released in 1989 and featured actors such as Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, and James Earl Jones.
The game on October 10 between Iowa and Kansas will be available to watch on Big Ten Plus, which is the subscription-based streaming service for the Big Ten Network.

Kansas and Iowa during the 2026 college baseball season
In 2026, the Iowa Hawkeyes finished the season with a 33-23 overall record and a 15-15 record in Big Ten play. They finished in eighth place in the Big Ten standings.
The Hawkeyes are entering 2027 looking for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2023.
The Kansas Jayhawks had a historically good baseball season in 2026. The Jayhawks won the Big 12 regular season and tournament titles after finishing the year with a 45-18 overall record and a 22-8 record in conference play.
Kansas hosted and won a regional at Hoglund Ballpark in Lawrence and played Oklahoma in the Lawrence Super Regional. The Sooners beat the Jayhawks and went on to win the 2026 national championship.
Despite falling short of the College World Series, Kansas still finished with their first-ever super regional appearance and a program-record number of conference wins.
